What is required is the complete opposite – priority to social progress and investment for economic growth. Both require more spending and are therefore directly contrary to a military build-up.

Well, I mostly agree with your articles about the fatal idea to make NATO scavenge on the dead Pact of Warszawa.

But there is a major problem with your claim cited above: Infinite growth in a limited space is IMPOSSIBLE. What the world needs is peace and DEGROWTH, not even more imperialistic growth. What you called “social progress” should be achieved by means of degrowth and circular economy, not by even more car dependency, moron phone dependency, extractivism, digital fascism, overconsumpton and the like. Unfortunately economic growth is equally malicious as NATO. Both result in total desctruction of this planet,

There’s no Europe’s left; there’s no Europe left either. I doubt that you believe that the self-appointed traditional leftist parties would ever oppose rearmament and austerity. There’s no way to rely on leftist parties to oppose NATO and rearmament. To counter US/NATO and rearmament, we need to rethink our politics and form new alliances with sovereignists and individuals who think outside the box, beyond traditional boundaries, free from commonplaces. Progress means being able to make up our minds and change perceptions.
